Dr. Abdul Kabur Ibrahim has 43 years working experience with the Malaysian government and the corporate sector. Whilst working with the government as a PTD officer, he has served as the Malaysian Trade Commissioner in Belgium and South Africa under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. He is also the President of the Malaysian Exporters Association and the Malaysian Training Providers Association; Chairman of the Foundation of Malaysian Institute of Export, Chairman of the Malaysia Madagascar Business Council and Chairman of Malaysia Iraq Business Council.

He has very vast experience in International Trade and Export. He has also been conferred Professorship in International Trade by the Genovasi University College in 2019 and has been appointed as the Honorary Dean of the School of International Trade.
